Sarebbe controproducente rinominare un Eden Black visto che di quella grandezza avrebbe avuto un prezzo anche maggiore.
A parte ciò, trovo anche io folle arrivare a spendere cifre simili per una pianta, ma si sa, il nero ultimamente va molto di moda nei cephalotus, e qualsiasi cosa abbia black nel nome vola su di prezzo...

Disappoint you guys, this is not just black and namesake, I wrote the guy what they cloned the purchase and receive a certificate from the original Triffid Albany Black Clone.

But it is also clear from the hustler I find that issue with a classic black color for Eden Black or other more expensive clones.

We're talking about a plant that's imported directly from Australia? So if yes, there's no certification for it, only Gps data to have the exactly location.
I think that's crazy pay those prizes for clones, we're no talking about cultivar! I also have located plants, but there's a lot of differences from a cultivar.
Everyone can call a plant with a nickname in his collection.
Don't forget that also Hummer giant in the early '80s before to become a cultivar was only a plant arrived from Australia, John after many years had submitted his notice about this plant and in a second time the plant became a Cultivar.
Now, the "Triffid albany black clone" (and the name say it!) it's a clone, and there's no valid document to certify and justify this price.
Different the Eden Black situation, The Eden Black it's a cultivar, and ONLY If you buy it directly from Stephen Morley you have the 100% guarantee that's the original, all the rest can be a Fake, remember that also Eden Black several Times can have a "colour regression" caused by stress.
Why all this? Only to prove that 1: Noone plant (except registered cultivars) can be "certified" 2. The most important thing is not the certification, but the grower reputation
So, excuse me for my endless message, but it's really important understand the real mechanism to be' shure when We want to buy "valued plants"

one time I wrote with him PM message :

I am from United Kingdom, I saw it for sale on ebay and jumped at the chance to obtain it and was sniped at the very last second, but luckilly I was offered it for í‚£200 from the seller (andyinsuffolk) he has sent me a letter confirming this cultivar is an original and to let him know if I ever decide to divide it to prevent fakes being sold in the market. My one is labelled 002.
Unsure if he has anymore for sale, but definitely one to watch out for.

The situation about Cephalotus cultivation on the international scene is:

ONLY 2 registered cultivars.

All the rest are clones. (for now)
There's only one way to define a plant cultivar, an is to publish an article about it on a society Magazine ( or at icps) and in a second time ask to elevate the plant status to cultivar.
After this you can sell this plant as it.
I know that at Primal plants nursery they're workin on 3 new cultivars that maybe will be avaiable at the end of this year... MAYBE...
But for now all plants except the 2 registered (this include also Dudley Watts, Vigorous clumping, Big Boy and German Giant) are only CLONES.
Pay attention if someone tell something different, and if you want to be' shure check on the ICPS website.
